Justin Trudeau Caught Lying

[Fact Checking Justin Trudeau]

….. the constant repeating of less than factual information is a bare faced attempt to mislead Canadians.  Worse, it is insulting that Trudeau thinks that the voters are dumb.

It is not fun to have to continue catching Trudeau in lies.  It is ample proof that he does not know what he speaks about, lacks understanding and is UNFIT to govern.

This morning, in Montreal, Justin Trudeau again attempted to mislead. The fact that he is now “cluster lying” (packing several lies into a single event) gives concern about the state of his mental health.

Debt and Deficits

After weeks of being questioned where the money would come from to pay the cost of the numerous platform items he has been presenting almost daily, Trudeau changed course and began telling tax payers that (if ??? elected) he would steer the country into a series of deliberate deficits.

In so doing, the government’s spending would exceed revenue thus creating deficits.  Those deficits would increase national debt.

Trudeau said this morning, “we are currently in Mr. Harper’s eighth straight deficit”.   Trudeau LIED and I am calling him on it!  It may suit Trudeau’s purposes to attempt to make the present government look like it is failing BUT, the finance department (note: civil service and not political) announced today that as a result of increased revenues from excise tax, reduced debt service payments (bonds) and increased duty revenues.

According to the official sources[i], total government revenues for the period are now running at about $24 billion per month while spending is at $21 billion.

It seems beyond the “trust fund” kid’s ability to understand but put in its simplest terms, if you earn $24 and spend $21, you have a surplus and not a deficit.

Economics just isn’t that difficult unless one attempts to deceive.

Martin Used as His Example

According to Trudeau’s comments in the same speech, he stated that, “we are now in Mr. Harper’s eighth straight deficit.  The way to get out of that deficit is not through further cuts.  That’s not what Canadians need. That is in fact what will hurt hard working Canadians across this country.”

Flanked by disgraced ex-prime minister, Paul Martin, Trudeau made the deficit comment a total of nine times in his brief question and answer period.  Martin grinned like the cart that had just swallowed the canary.

Let’s be straight with facts.  Martin extensively resorted to drastic cuts in a fumbled attempt to balance a budget while serving as Finance Minister under Jean Chretien.  Saying otherwise won’t/can’t change history.  In Justin Trudeau’s wild imagination, he seems to have convinced himself that everyone in Canada is prone to accept his drivel.

Here are the facts.  By 1994 (in the middle of the Chretien/Martin regime) Canada was mired in a recession (sound familiar??) Martin dealt with that recession by slashing unemployment benefits and closing a number of military bases. Determined to reduce the Canadian deficit, he cut the spending of virtually every federal department, reducing government expenditures by more than $25 billion (spread over three years) and eliminating 45 000 public service jobs. Federal transfer payments to the provinces for health and education were slashed by $7 billion[1].

Trudeau Is Dishonest

The election future of the Liberals in Quebec is grim. Gilles Duceppe (Bloc leader) is back and is making steady progress to reclaim seats lost in 2006 and again in 2011.  Thomas Mulcair (also form Quebec) is struggling to hold on to as many of the NDP’s current 57 seats in Quebec as possible.

Trudeau is in a very tight race in his own Papineau riding in urban Montreal.

Desperate times often cause desperate people to do desperate things. Trudeau’s carelessness with truth is being noticed.

As stated in his own speech, quite frankly I don’t know why anyone takes Justin Trudeau seriously at all.  Justin Trudeau’s intentionally misleading statements “simply insult the intelligence and credulity of Canadians.

  1. Seriously, Canadians are dumb, just look who we have elected over the past 40 years. All Canadian Politian’s are dishonest, some are better at hiding it then others.

    1. This (alternative media) is evolving into a more reliable information source than the major media houses such as TorStar, CBC CTV etc. The story you commented on (Justin Trudeau lying) and a story about the Duffy Trial have gone viral. That is encouraging and is telling me that Canadians aren’t as dumb as the political spin folks would have you think. You on going interest is highly motivating…thanks. If you find something interesting, the best thing to do is share it electronically among your friends and contacts. You may be surprised but the story above was capturing up to 100 reads/hour. I suspect that no single article in the TorStar had that type of audience. You may be interested in also spending a few minutes reading about the Duffy story https://thunderbirdrising.wordpress.com/2015/08/29/the-duffy-trial-raises-suspicions/

    2. I am glad to see the readership on these articles. Apparently they are filling a void. The absolute best thing to do is to encourage this type of alternative media. Follow the blog as a regular and mention to others
