Kanye at Pan Am Closing Ceremony

[Another Wynne stunt]

th (3)bread not circuses

If Premier Wynne and her Lieberal Wynne government in Ontario did not have bad taste, they would have no taste.

Frankly, it is appalling that Ontario residents allow this “want-to-be-politician” such latitude.  Her stunts are becoming more outlandish each passing day.  Moreover, Wynne offends the senses of decent people and has turned Queen’s Park into her own circus.

Look, there was no need for Wynne to announce a few years ago that she was a lesbian. No one cared. That, in and of itself (frankly) came across as a bit gimmicky.  After all, Wynne had children and grandchildren (ughh) .  It was more than a bit difficult to swallow that Wynne’s sexual leanings amounted to Wynne coming out of the closet given her very long heterosexual history. Most of us passed it off as a disingenuous publicity stunt.

Since obtaining Ontario’s highest office, her downwards spiral of ridiculous actions are creepy.  Collectively, they leave an uneasy feeling about how she is running Ontario.

On the business side of things, she has pretty much bottomed out the Province’s economic affairs.  The entire PanAm extravaganza added at least another $3.0 billion debt load to the $288 billion hole she has dug.  My kids, your kids and our grand kids will have to pay off things well into the next century.  Banks and lending institutions sent the “panic flag” up weeks ago by downgrading the Province’s credit worthiness and thus increasing the cost charged for her (Wynne) to continue.

But it is not only Wynne’s disrespect for your tax dollars that is troubling.  Her general contempt and lack of respect for Ontario residents continues to show itself.  Her own prurient (and curious) leanings are manifesting themselves in focused same-sex training for kindergarten and grade one kids in our schools, the purchase of an explicitly obscene art object now hanging prominently at Queen’s Park and NOW, the hiring of controversial American rapper, Kayne to be the closing act at the Pan Am games.

Kanye’s “rap” sheet extends beyond the stage.  He has been arrested in the USA at least twice for assault and battery.  A USA judge has already instructed him to undergo anger management counseling.

We happen to all live in a multicultural nation: Canada. I find Kayne’s anti-Semitic public pronouncements to be something that should not be encouraged or enabled.  In fact, Canadian tax-payers money should not be handed over to this guy.

During a November 26, 2013, radio interview, Kanye was explaining why he believed that President Obama had problems pushing policies in Washington. He said: “Man, let me tell you something about George Bush and oil money and Obama and no money. People want to say Obama can’t make these moves or he’s not executing. That’s because he ain’t got those connections. Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people…We ain’t Jewish. We don’t got family that got money like that.”

Hopefully if Wynne is not bright enough to cancel Kanye, maybe our Immigration people can see to it that he keeps his own brand of racism south of the 49th.  I have an uneasy feeling that Premier Kathleen Wynne is experimenting as to how far she can push decent people.
