Front and center of any parliamentary ruckus you will find them: New Democratic Party Members of Parliament (MPs). Led by Thomas Mulcair, they are quickly on their feet, waving fingers and (too) quick to prepare the hangman’s gallows for any other political party in parliament that the NDP perceive to have broken a rule or misused public money. As we approach Federal elections here in Canada within the next few months, they will certainly escalate the rhetoric in hope of persuading the public to vote them into office.
More than just wanting to have a few of their members voted into parliament, it is now Mulcair’s dream to have his party obtain a majority in parliament and begin running Canada. Those who fail to learn from history are almost doomed to repeat its painful lessons again…
