Justin Trudeau can’t be blamed for believing he has pulled a fast one in Canada. He somehow managed to persuade voters that he should become Prime Minister thus fulfilling a family legacy. There are many who did not accept the guy – not because his name was Trudeau but because he had no substantive policy or platform.
During a tiresome campaign lasting 11 weeks in 2015, Trudeau managed to persuade (con) voters that they were about to vote in a beauty pageant and not a serious election. Lost amid Trudeau’s often unintentionally comical stump speeches that were too often filled with mythical, mystical and mixed-up adolescent mutterings where his disjointed stuttering created a benign and harmless image of not too bright guy was a deeper and much more sinister scheme to achieve power at any cost.
